Working with Russell and Dave on this project was a joy. Russell understood the brief and creative vision for this garden room/extension immediately. His attention to detail and craftsmanship really sets him apart. No detail was too small and nothing was assumed, he was happy to collaborate from start to finish. Discussing everything from construction method and roof design to internal trim details. His ability to problem solve and come up with creative solutions to inevitable site constraints made working on this project easy. The end result speaks for itself, but as the designer on this project it was extremely rewarding to see the vision brought to life so accurately. I look forward to working with Distinct Garden Rooms again.

There is no doubt that Russell is a master craftsman in all areas of creating garden rooms, building and working with wood. He built my office/therapy cabin to fit the unusual shape of my garden to such a high standard it is literally like another full blown room in the house. Insulated deeply underfoot, in the roof and walls, it is the perfect space to work and see my clients. Awash with sockets and great lighting, internet and infra-red glass heating panel, it works like a dream and everyone who spends time in it remarks on how amazing it is. The whole process from conception of building design and materials to completion was seamless. Russell proved himself to be not just wholly competent, but trustworthy, inventive in developing ideas and supported by a team of wonderful experts who completed the job on time and to the highest spec. Not only that - Russell and his team were great to have around for the duration of the build - it only took 3 weeks to complete - they were good company with great humour. I cannot recommend Russell highly enough. If you are looking for a proper garden room - and something unique to you with all the mod cons - absolutely give Russell a call.

What can I say, Russ has always delivered an amazing job and nothing is too much trouble. Quality outcome, at reasonable prices. Whilst he hasn’t created a summer house for me has completely relandscaped my garden from extending decking, building raised sleeper flower beds and getting rid of a rather large pond and filling back in to make a lovely new seating area. Always a pleasure
