Loghouse Log Cabins Scotland

Purchased a custom sized Oxford cabin. Pre and post sales experience was great. Build team were superb, quality of finish and timeliness was first class. The overall quality of the cabin/build surpassed my expectations.....solid and quality finish. Cabin came with the grey doors and windows again, they look and feel very good quality. Overall very pleased with whole experience from start to finish.

We bought a fully insulated cabin from Loghouse in Cumbernauld. We dealt with Graham in the sales office, Eddie at the warehouse and Tam and his team who completed the installation. All of them were trustworthy, friendly, dependable and professional. The cabin was constructed within the timeframe mentioned, the site was left tidy and the leftover rubbish was cleared within 48 hrs. Even the guys who came to take the rubbish away, like Tam, went above and beyond. Cabin looks great and appers well built. Would recommend.

Build ,after sales snagging and warranty are non existent. Do not engage! I sadly bought from log house. The actual log cabin was build at a bizzare angle in the garden, could not be rectified. Google maps shows it, it is so bad!! I have a deck significantly shorter than I requested. I have been left with squint doors, the worst set of stairs you will ever encounter, all coming apart and just beyond poor workmanship. If it's a local team doing your work do not let them in your garden, trust me, they are not actual tradesmen. There are serious issues with quality of decking used, it's all split after a short time and warping. Have a look at the pictures before you go looking and see for yourself. I tried to engage many times and have been fobbed off again and again by this company, their actions are shameful and visible in their work/ pictures in review. Avoid at all costs.

Terrible experience. Lack of communication is a major problem for this company's Glasgow branch. 5 months from starting installing to it being finished is nowhere near what we were sold. Installing lesser spec windows and doors which are clearly stated in their catalogue as "this is what our competitors do". All nice and pleasant when looking at their products, but once you pay, you're ignored and not treated as a customer. Delivered the kit, and within 5 minutes, they are on the phone demanding the balance. There was so much wrong with our dealings with this company, we'll not recommend them to anyone. Our complaints eventually went to the owner in Ireland, which I had to initiate as Glasgow branch kept saying "it's out of their hands", who, after a few messages back and forth we were lead to believe the Glasgow branch would get it sorted. Alas, we were wrong as they dragged their heels and took another 2 months to get the windows that were advertised. Yet, still no update or replies from my emails/messages asking for an update. The overall dealings with the Glasgow branch are not good, but this is down to Eddie, their so called "customer care manager". We think they'll need to get a person that actually does care. Who, incidentally, thought he could give us a meal voucher and all would be ok. So, our opinion is a very honest review on our experience with this company. We would not recommend them to anyone. If we could give this a minus star rating, we would.

Build quality is fantastic and the team who came to build it were first class. Tidy in everything they did and polite and listened to any requests or amendments I had. I’d thoroughly recommend this company

We bought our cabin from Log House Scotland and had a really pleasant experience with Grahame in the office throughout the entire purchasing process. Roland and Sergie came from Log House to build our cabin, and from the very beginning they were professional, reliable, hardworking, and genuinely lovely to work with. They worked incredibly quickly while still maintaining a very high standard throughout. Roland completed all of our interior work inside the log cabin, including the kitchen fitting, bathroom installation, plumbing, and flooring. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and every part of the work was carried out with real care and attention to detail. We were so impressed with the quality of the workmanship that we later asked Roland to return and install a brand new bathroom suite with plumbing and tiling in our home, as well as floor our attic loft space. Roland works extremely neatly and kept everything clean and tidy throughout the entire process, which made such a difference. The workmanship from both Roland and Sergie was outstanding, and it’s clear they both take great pride in what they do. We would highly recommend Roland to anyone looking for a reliable and skilled tradesman. It’s incredibly hard to find someone this trustworthy, hardworking, and easy to deal with these days, and we’re so glad our paths crossed.
