MODE Garden Rooms (Hertford)

We had an excellent experience with Mode, from start to finish, resulting in a fantastic garden office space that we love. No corners were cut and we were consulted at every step of the way. Communication, professionalism and setting expectations are so important on jobs like this, and the whole Mode team provided us with these. We had a small plot and needed the removal and excavation of a raised patio and the building a new retaining wall. This was not a problem. On site everyone was polite, friendly and very respectful of noise and mess. The craftsmanship is superb and seeing it go up from start to finish gives you the confidence in the construction and the time and care spent at every step of the way. If you want a garden office and you’re weighing up options, I would fully recommend Mode!

The Mode Garden Rooms, were very professional and friendly, form the start of the project to the finish of the project. I would recommend them 110% reliable and Honest in their work. We had a Room for doing, art in. We have lighting, Wi-Fi, and heating. Lovely flooring. Plastered the room in one day. The Team were great, and hard working to get the structure established in the timelines, that were set. Paying in instalments, make the possibility of keeping check with the payments. I definitely recommend MODE Garden ROOMS if you need some extra space. For your home.

Construction was carried out to the highest standard by Darren and team, with great attention to detail and minimal disruption. The team was professional, punctual, and kept the site tidy throughout. After the build was completed, Joe ensured any minor snagging issues were promptly addressed. The finished garden room has exceeded our expectations—it’s a beautiful, high-quality addition to our home that we now use and enjoy daily. We are absolutely thrilled with our garden room and decking area. It was worth every penny and all things considered we feel it was great value for money. Initially we were wary of using a company with little online footprint, but it’s was immediately obvious that Nick and the team had a wealth of knowledge and experience between them. Nick and Joe spent a long time establishing our needs and made excellent suggestions along the way to enhance the building such as a canopy to provide shade and a covered decking area. We were consulted every step of the way about the progress of the build and they willingly accommodated every change of mind we had along the way. Any issues that arose were treated as challenges, not problems and were all solved to our satisfaction. The team genuinely wanted to do a good job and nothing was rushed. The workmanship and attention to detail was excellent. The team were respectful to us and our neighbours and disruption was kept to a minimum. Overall we could not have gone with a better company - these guys are skilled professionals. We are currently enjoying our dream truly bespoke garden room. We would highly recommend them.
