Norwegian Log Buildings Ltd - Warehouse

Norwegian Log Buildings Ltd is a family business founded in 1984. It has supplied and installed log cabin homes for over 40 years, delivering more than 1,000 homes. The company holds exclusive rights in the British Isles to buildings from a leading Norwegian log building manufacturer. It designs, manufactures, delivers, and installs buildings itself with an in-house team. Its main services are designing and building log homes, granny annexes, garden rooms, and commercial log buildings.

It works with schools, holiday parks, charities, and public bodies to supply commercial log buildings. Its buildings are designed to fit most gardens with minimal access requirements and without requiring planning permission if occupied by a family member. It was the first in the UK to recognise the benefits of a transportable log home and prove they fall under the Caravan Act.

Its buildings are crafted using solid logs throughout with modern cavity insulation, sourcing Norwegian spruce logs from an expert Norwegian forestry partner. They include practical features such as step-free access, wider doorways, non-slip flooring options, and easy-grip handles, and use a precision-cut interlocking system to ensure draught-free construction. Components can be carried through an opening the size of a doorway for installation in hard-to-reach areas. A standard 5-year warranty is offered, extendable to up to 25 years.

Norwegian Log Buildings Ltd is a log home builder and warehouse based near Charvil, and the lodges it produces draw positive responses from those who see them. One account describes how striking the buildings looked when they were delivered to the site next door, focusing on their appearance as finished structures.

Another comment highlights the natural character of the accommodation and suggests the lodges need to be seen and felt in person to be properly appreciated, thanking the company for the open day that made this possible. Both remarks centre on the lodges themselves, covering their visual impact and their natural style of accommodation, and the open day is noted as a way to encounter the buildings directly. The feedback reflects a log home builder whose accommodation is valued for how it looks and feels when viewed first-hand.
