Riversides lodges

Comfortable, well-equipped lodges and a relaxing rural setting are the points guests return to most often when describing Riversides Lodges on Scropton Road near Derby. The accommodation is spoken of as cosy and well laid out, with a hot tub singled out as a highlight that adds to the relaxed atmosphere of a stay. Views across the surrounding countryside are mentioned as part of the appeal, alongside the cottage on site, which guests describe as lovely and comfortable.

What stands out across the feedback is the attentiveness of the family running the business, with guests noting that staff went out of their way to help during their visit, giving the stay a personal, welcoming feel rather than that of a large commercial operation. No website or opening hours are listed, consistent with self-catering holiday accommodation that is typically booked in advance rather than visited without arrangement. Lodges and cottage-style accommodation both feature in the feedback, pointing to a small range of options for those seeking a countryside break. The combination of a peaceful setting near Derby, comfortable interiors and a hot tub continues to be the main draw described by those who have stayed there.
