TJ Sheds and Summerhouses

You can wonder around the range of stock they have at TJ Sheds and the lady we spoke to was genuinely nice and helpful and even gave a us a glossy brochure however there were large gaps in the display yard, so not as well stocked as I expected.

At the local show room everything is laid out and well presented. That's where it stops. I had a site survey to say it would go through the garage, it didn't. The build I was told is about an hour, after four and a half hours, they had to lay it flat. The back panel was to big, the side edge covers to short, the window catches different colours. No equipment, so they had to use mine and the electric. Numerous phone calls, chasing with "TERRIBLE" customer care by "Brooke". They turned up with the new parts, the summerhouse was put up, the next day my 82 year old father was disgusted in the workmanship and had to rehang the door, alter the lock so it didn't stick and put more nails into the edge covers as their was only one in holding it in place. A lovely summerhouse which was spoilt by all the problems. A big thank you to Molly, Liam, Andy and Jack who really tried their hardest.

I got the contemporary pent summerhouse 10x10 in August 2025 but wanted to wait before I gave a review. The service I got from the company was excellent! 2 guys came 3 weeks after I ordered it and they built it in about 1 hour. They were polite, respectful and friendly. The communication I received from the company from start to finish was great I can't fault them. I got my summerhouse insulated and plastered inside myself and I absolutely love it! I highly recommend them!

Put our order in and told it would be around 3 weeks. We chose our date from the choices they gave us. The day before it was due to be delivered they rang to say the doors weren't ready so it would be 2 days later. We rang the day before to ask for a rough time and were told to ring again in the morning. Rang in the morning and were told they would ring us as soon as they arrived at the office. They didn't ring, we had to ring back. We got a rough time, and they came and put part of it up. We were told the roof didn't fit and that they would come the following day, and they would ring when they were an hour away. They didn't. We rang and we're told the roof wasnt ready! They told us they'd tried to ring us to let us know, but there was no missed calls from them. They did come the next day and put the roof on. It looks really nice and we love it. The quality could be a bit better for what we paid for it. There was split wood on a couple of parts inside. All in all, I would say all the rules they give you when signing for it are all to suit them not you. There's not enough communication from them. They say they've tried to ring you when they havent. But apart from the bits of messing about, we're pleased with it

We purchased a Richmond summerhouse through an agent but the item is manufactured and installed by this company. Initially impressed , quality of building seemed good. However let down by poor installation. Items badly damaged by fitters, parts missing, large gaps, incomplete and not finished. Installers killed my grass by using a wood treatment directly onto the grass. Harmful to pets as well which wasn’t ideal when they had met my dog! Rubbish customer service, keep getting a similar email promising they want to rectify but all words and no action. Looks like legal action will have to be taken!! Very disappointed

We have had our shed a few months now and can honestly say the products these guys offer is top ! The quality and service we received was top and we are iver the moon with our shed the delivery time was fast and the installation team were great couldn't recommend these enough
