Unique Garden Rooms

Michael has just completed our garden room, and we couldn’t be happier. The quality of his workmanship and attention to detail is amazing. He sets very high standards for himself and isn’t satisfied unless the job is done perfectly. We were especially impressed by how he built the room completely from scratch in our garden. Nothing was too much trouble, even when we asked for a few tweaks along the way. And the fact that he only works with a few trusted tradespeople is good, as it ensures the quality of every aspect of the room is kept high. If we ever want another room in our garden we wouldn’t hesitate to ask Michael again!

I can't speak highly enough about the service provided by Unique Garden Rooms or the final product; the beautifully crafted Garden Room, Canopy and Decking. From the initial consultation with Michael, his vision and attention to detail was clear. I had some idea of what I was looking for but very little idea of what was possible. My Garden Room was always intended as a home office, and it is now in daily use, complete with a high speed wired network connection to my router. However, the building itself is also a beatiful addition to the garden and that is again down to the vision, attention to detail and craftsmanship that Michael brought to this project. ** Update - Oct 2024 ** It's 3 years from my original review and the quality I mentioned above is still evident with the building looking much like it did when it first went up. I have deliberately allowed the timber cladding to weather rather than treating it with a stain or varnish and it is aging beautifully. The main reason for this update, however, is to comment on the exceptional after-care provided by Michael. A minor accident resulted in some damage to the decking area around the room and even after 3 years, a quick message was all that was needed to have Michael come out and fix the damage. It's like it never happened.

This is just a short review of my new garden room which Michael hand-built in 16 days. The entire experience from first contact to finished product was exceptional. We went through a series of design and sizing options until we got the one that seemed best suited for our needs (thank you again Michael for your patience). His attention to detail was particularly impressive and every query while the actual building took shape was met with the same friendly and reassuring response. There was an initial hiccup with the CAT6 connection which was dealt with immediately. Everyone who has seen my new ‘’abode” has commented on the evident quality of the fit and finish. If you are uncertain about whether a garden room is for you, give Michael a call - his insightfulness, experience, patience and quality of workmanship has been a revelation. His personal commitment to making sure that every eventuality was covered was exemplary. Just have to thank MIchael and his company for providing us with an amazing extra room! Our ‘Garden room/studio space has been invaluable. We had actually just finished building our house and realised we needed extra space. We needed something that was quick to assemble but could look good and stand the elements that we lived in ear the coast. Michael guided us on the wood to use the shape and size that would work for us and helped us choose to the spec that would suit our needs re windows flooring plugs/ electrics etc It took maybe 2 weeks but his professionalism was reassuring and thouroughness re construction was a breath of fresh air compared to what we had experienced with our house build. I have had joinery work done in the past but nothing compared to Michael’s knowledge pf wood. He even choose the different grains of wood that came within the red cedar cladding and put the most suitable/best colour to the front and worked the rest around the other facades of the building. We are planning on another building structure and look forward to booking him in hopefully for that. Thanks Michael and co

Extremely happy and satisfied with the completed garden room. Michael's attention to detail and level of workmanship is exceptional. He is polite and friendly and leaves everything tidy at the end of each day. Any queries were met with a detail response/explanation. For the level of specification and workmanship the garden room is value for money. Would very highly recommend Unique Garden Rooms.

His meticulous planning resulted in a quick, efficient quality build, which was backed up with high spec materials. His artistry and craftmanship are second to none.
