Kingston Cabins

Kingston Cabins is a Hull-based company with over 20 years of experience in the woodworking industry. It designs and builds its own cabins, rather than supplying off-the-shelf sheds. The company uses FSC and/or PEFC certified Scandinavian Redwood timber from sustainable sources, with timber between 21mm and 34mm tongue and groove, smooth-planed. It does not use OSB or chipboard in its cabins.

Windows and roof lights are made from high strength, shatterproof, UV resistant polycarbonate acrylic. Kingston Cabins recycles 100% of its waste. It designs and builds custom-made cabins, summerhouses, offices, and sheds. The company offers free delivery and installation, subject to a geographical limit, and removes all waste after installation. It also provides help and guidance for base construction prior to installation.

Kingston Cabins has built a reputation among Hull customers for producing custom summerhouses and sheds, with Jason and Andy named repeatedly as the team behind the friendly, professional service reported throughout. Reviewers describe a process that runs smoothly from the first enquiry, often starting with a visit to the workshop to look over materials and discuss a hand-drawn or bespoke plan, through to delivery and siting of the finished building. The quality of timber and craftsmanship is a consistent theme, with buildings such as a shed featuring a glass apex roof and various bespoke-sized summerhouses and market stalls singled out for their finish and durability, with one customer noting a build expected to last well beyond thirty years.

Communication and timekeeping are also mentioned favourably, including instances of teams arriving exactly when promised to begin work. Several customers report having used the business more than once for different projects, a sign of confidence in the results achieved. Based on English Street within the Kingston Industrial Estate, the business continues to serve Hull and the surrounding area with bespoke timber garden buildings built to individual customer requirements.
