New Line Sheds Ltd

New line Sheds have just delivered a custom built shed and veranda. It is exactly what we wanted and looks great. We are very pleased. The site assembly was done extremely well. A great result.

This is the second time I’ve used New Line Sheds. First time was for one of their 8ft x 10ft Sturdy Workshops which I was delighted with. So when I moved house and needed another garden building, I had no hesitation in choosing them again, but this time for a 10ft x 12ft Bella Chalet. This is such an attractive building. The arched tops to the windows and the “antique” style black steel handles, locks and hinges really add character. The doors are secured with a decent quality multi-lever lock and two keys are supplied. The chalet I ordered was 12ft deep and the roof is made up of four 6ft roof sections centrally supported by a cleverly designed truss that gives maximum strength while achieving maximum head height internally. So despite its size there’s little chance of this roof sagging over time. The roof is covered with a good quality mineral felt and I ordered my chalet pre-treated with a “Summer Tan” colour preservative. New Line use a Barretine oil/spirit based product to treat the external timber walls and also treat the underside of the floor panels and beams. The fit of the doors and windows is good but is typical of “shed” type construction. By this I mean that there can be a little bit of warp on the doors however a pair of turnbuckle catches work in combination with the main door lock to ensure a snug closure. The opening windows on my chalet fit well and can be opened and secured in a number of positions. I am delighted with my Bella Chalet. New Line may not be the cheapest company out there but their buildings are distinctly well above average quality and with appropriate aftercare will certainly last many decades. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend New Line Sheds.

My wife is delighted with her new shed. It was a lot of work to paint it ourselves but it looks really smart. Would definitely recommend New Line Sheds! Very reasonable prices compared to garden centres.
