I really do wish I'd read some reviews before giving this company my business. I would say that the shed itself is fine. It was a bit more expensive than I'd seen online, but I wanted to buy local because you get better service. How wrong could I be?! The initial transaction was fine, but when the guys arrived to fit it, everything changed. We'd been given a date for delivery and were told that if we called on the day, we'd be given an estimated time. We did this, but were told "it will be there when it's there", which wasn't very helpful. When the guys arrived, they immediately confronted my partner to ask why he had been chasing them, and were rude and aggressive. It was late on a Friday afternoon by the time they got there, and they very clearly were annoyed that they were still working. They threw the shed up so quickly, and were slamming around the garden. They also made some very strange and racially insensitive comments while in my garden which made me very uncomfortable. I was glad when they'd gone. Very quickly, the slats on the shed walls started to move and shift and there were big gaps appearing, because it just hadn't been built with any care. This was a £2.5k shed, so not a cheap one. The door also hadn't been fitted properly, and the handle had been put on wonky, so it never locked easily and after 9 months the lock broke completely and had to be replaced. I did contact them to try and get this resolved between us, but other than offering to send the guys over to fix the lock, which had already been fixed (and I wouldn't want them at my house again anyway!) they offered nothing. Such a shame. This company has been around for ever and it just feels like the staff are really letting it down. There's another shed company just down the road that I'd definitely try first.

Brilliant service from start to finish. Left alone to peruse the available sheds. Super helpful on the finer details and options. Ordered, delivered and installed within a reasonable time frame. Also the installation team were really friendly and professional. Can't recommend enough.

Sheds that are made to last. The shed was delivered and erected by their team. They did a great job in the heat. We painted it with 2 coats of Sadolin. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely over the moon. Excellent price. Was even delivered and built ahead of schedule. The guys that built it were efficient and friendly. Would highly recommend.

We purchased a summerhouse and the staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. The two chaps that erected it were on time and very efficient. Overall we are really happy with the quality and service of The Shed Centre. Thanks very much.

The quality of these sheds are so exceptionally poor they are not really fit for purpose The customer service offered by this unprofessional bunch is absolutely non existent,if you query or question the Manager (lol) will become very rude and aggressive and threatening. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THESE OFFENSIVE INDIVIDUALS STEER WELL CLEAR. THEY WILL GRAB YOUR MONEY AND EFFECTIVELY RUN. there are far better shed retailers in Colchester stay away. Graham
