SunSpaces - Bespoke Verandas & Garden Rooms/Sunrooms

After speaking to several companies, we decided to go with Sunspaces for our new sun room extension — and we're so glad we did! From the outset, they stood out from the crowd. Never pushy, but really thorough in understanding what we wanted and flexible about what they could offer. That combination gave us real confidence from day one. The communication throughout the whole process was excellent — we always knew what was happening and when. And when it came to the installation itself, Darren, Mark and Neil were absolutely brilliant. Professional, skilled and a pleasure to have around. The finished result speaks for itself. Great product, outstanding installation, brilliant communication, and all at a very reasonable price. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sunspaces — five stars without question! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We had our Sunspace room fitted over a year ago and have been thrilled with it ever since.The process of purchase and installation went without hitch and we felt we had good service throughout. It has been a wonderful extension to both the house and garden; on a hot day both glass "walls" open up; in wet weather when the temperature is not so high we have enjoyed the protection and it's surprising what a little bit of sunshine will do to warm up the room. And last Christmas we decided to run a small space heater to warm it up and we had our family Christmas dinner in the sunroom! (see pic). We can't speak too highly of the service and product we have enjoyed from Sunspace

So far really pleased with our Aspire Veranda. After looking at a few options we went for this one. Dimitar was very thorough in explaining how it was made and it was great to see samples beforehand. Installation by Ben and his team was efficient and tidy. The guys were friendly and always happy to answer any questions we had. Just waiting for some sunny weather now.

We still have leaks…over 1 year later…and no end in sight. Unfortunately after week 1 of build (despite numerous questions/confirmatory correspondence), we discovered that part of the ground was not suitable for build: something that should have been highlighted day 1; not day 1 of week 2 which added delay and additional week. The building team were courteous and friendly but very messy, despite a few requests: we had the clean/clear the build site each day/weekend: including food wrappers/cigarette butts. The final part of build was rushed and unfortunately a thorough check after the builders left revealed some chips, warped decking, no access to drains (as requested) and a leak. The team came back the following week and remedied some of the issues which was good. But once again, the site was left in a messy condition. Overall the price would get 4.5/5 but because of the experience and having to ask the team to come back and finish it properly our experience was not that good. Head Office responded quickly but did not follow up after work was done to check if we were happy. I would ensure you have someone on site to manage the team /check their work each day to ensure a better experience. Unfortunately, even though we work from home on occasion it was difficult to work and check up on build progress/cleanliness etc. I was away for final inspection and it was rushed due to my partner working from home with not much time to check details. We only discovered issues over the weekend when we had time for closer inspection. worth outlining from outset exactly what is required and general standards you expect on site. And unfortunately you’ll need to test everything and act as site manager. Disappointed.

I had found the company via Google last year, and decided to go ahead and order this year. The surveyor who visited our house was knowledgeable and showed us samples of the materials used. This was followed up with some 3D drawings ( which proved to give a very good idea of finished verandah) and a quote. The team that constructed the verandah were hardworking and polite, and checked details with us. Waste was taken away from the house. We're very pleased with the finished product.

I love this structure however I am giving it a 2 as I have had it a year and it is still NOT fit for purpose these are supposed to be water tight and I am still having pools of water coming from the structure I believe this is due to bad installation. I would NOT recommend the particular company to anyone wishing to buy a veranda Having received a response I have now stipulated that I require the gutter support and 2 legs be replaced as they were damaged by the installers or for it to be taken away and a full refund sent will keep you all updated 27th Aug My next update email received the same email that I received approximately a month ago re informing me yet again that it’s a busy time of year plus people on holidays, and management away from the office. Yet again re stated that he would be taking it into a meeting to be discussed.

We love our verandah! Great friendly helpful service from Sunspaces, right through from the site measure and consultation to ordering and fitting. Installation took a day and the fitting team were polite, diligent and tidy. All rubbish collected & taken away. Verandah looks fab, is great quality and matches perfectly with our black door frames. Now we can sit outside even if the weathers a bit damp! Cheers Sunspaces, it’s brilliant!
