About the company
The Shed Shop has been building sheds since 1996. Originally based in Measham, the company moved to Swadlincote in 2012. Matthew Taylor is the owner; he worked for The Shed Shop as an employee for 9 years before buying the company in 2005 and has run it from 2005 to the present day.
William has been with the company since 2000, and Samuel Taylor started in 2021. The Shed Shop builds both standard and bespoke units. Its product range includes sheds, potting sheds, summer houses, summer house and shed combos, play houses, animal houses, log stores and bin stores, and mobility scooter sheds. The company is not a large company and prefers to keep it that way.

I ordered a custom size shed from The Shed Shop and Matt was very helpful throughout the process. Pricing was very reasonable and we're very happy with the shed and the service. We opted to have Matt and his team erect the shed and they were quick and respectful. Would definitely recommend!
Placed order for 8x6 shed also asked about a base and got good advice,the shed and base was delivered and erected in about 1hour,great work.My daughter says the shed is great so she is also going to buy from The Shed Shop Swadlincote. Thanks again
An absolute pleasure to buy from. Matthew was very helpful when ordering our shed ensuring that what we brought was what we wanted and gave us options and things to think about we had not considered without putting pressure on us to spend more. As the sheds are built to order, we were told of a date of delivery date at the time of order and true to his word, I was called 2 days before. The team turned up as promised on time and erected the shed ( an option if wanted ). My shed was up in no time at all and the quality of it is so superior to what's available at a DIY shop or online shed suppliers. It is so brilliant to deal with a business that does exactly what they say they will and when they will at a very sensible price. If you want a quality shed, at a good price and great service this is definitely the place to come. Highly recommended!
Ordered the log lap Sun Chalet. From ordering to delivery Matt was so helpful. The Summer House is even better than we could have hoped for. Beautiful timber, and craftsmanship. It looks absolutely gorgeous. The guys assembled it in with such care. Thanks Matt! Really appreciate your time

Absolutely over the moon with my shed from the Shed Shop. Knowledgable and friendly staff helped me get exactly right configuration of shed for my needs - thinking of things I wouldn't have considered on my own. Service was quick and reliable.
