⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding from start to finish – we couldn’t recommend Clever Built Cabins highly enough! We honestly cannot praise Clever Built Cabins enough for the incredible garden cabin they have built for us. From the very first meeting, John, the owner, was exceptional. He came out personally to survey our site and immediately understood the complexity of what we were asking for. Our cabin was being built at the top of a steep embankment overlooking the river, so there were significant structural and access challenges to overcome. Rather than seeing these challenges as a problem, John worked with us to find the best solution. He was happy to make use of our existing base but went above and beyond to ensure the structure and embankment were properly supported and safe. This included installing substantial ground screws, some of which were an incredible 4 metres long. His knowledge, attention to detail and commitment to getting everything right gave us complete confidence throughout the project. The communication from the whole team was excellent. We were kept informed at every stage, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. The cabin was bespoke-designed and built specifically for us, and the finished result has exceeded our expectations. The team who carried out the build were fantastic — professional, efficient, friendly and extremely respectful of our property. Their workmanship and attention to detail were exceptional, and it was clear that they genuinely took pride in what they were doing. From the initial survey and design, through the challenging groundwork and construction, right through to the finishing touches, the entire process was handled with a level of professionalism that is becoming increasingly difficult to find. The finished cabin is absolutely beautiful and we are genuinely thrilled with it. It has completely exceeded our expectations and has given us a space that we will enjoy for many years to come. We have worked with a number of companies over the years, and without hesitation, Clever Built Cabins is one of the best companies we have ever dealt with. We honestly couldn't be happier with our new log cabin/garden office from Clever Built Cabins. From the very first conversation through to completion, everything was handled professionally and exactly as promised. John was fantastic throughout the whole process, keeping us updated every step of the way and always available to answer any questions. It was so refreshing to have no hidden costs or unexpected surprises – everything was delivered just as we'd agreed, and in many ways they went above and beyond. What really stood out was the level of customer service and attention to detail. John, the owner, didn't just oversee the project—he was part of the build team, on site every day, rolling up his sleeves and getting stuck in alongside everyone else. Seeing the owner so hands-on was incredibly reassuring and showed how much pride he takes in his work. The team also had to deal with some awful weather during the build, with rain, hail, storms and sunshine all thrown at them! Despite the conditions, they never let it affect the quality of their work or their professionalism, and the finished cabin is absolutely fantastic. We absolutely love our new space and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Clever Built Cabins to anyone considering a log cabin or garden office. I was initially a bit nervous about making contact, but Clever Built Cabins were really easy to deal with and completely pressure free. The cabins are beautiful, the pricing was clear and easy to understand, and the team were very knowledgeable. They gave me great guidance around planning requirements and helped me understand what to consider before moving forward. The service was excellent and very much appreciated.

We know John through the hutting community in Scotland and reached out when my dad’s hut was in poor shape. Being in his 70s, he couldn’t manage a rebuild himself, and most companies weren’t interested due to how remote the site was. John and the team were more than happy to help and were incredibly patient, especially with my dad. The support and understanding made the whole process much easier, and we’re really thankful for that.

We recently had a cabin built in our back garden by Clever Built Cabins and couldn't be happier with the experience. We are not DIYers so decided to go for the whole package, ordering the cabin and also installation including electrics. It was a great experience right from the start - John came out and looked at the space we had and helped us visualise the right model for our garden (even advising that we get a slightly smaller model than we had originally envisaged, and he was absolutely correct in this). Nothing was too much trouble at the planning stage and this would prove to be the case all the way through the process. Communication is important to us and I must say John made sure that we were kept informed and satisfied throughout the build, explaining clearly what was happening throughout, what we should expect at each stage and how long it would take. His team of joiners and electricians are also excellent and extremely professional, working hard through some pretty unpleasant weather and muddy terrain to get the job completed. Our cabin not only looks amazing but is also solidly constructed and we are extremely pleased with the result. All in all, a five star experience and if I could give more stars I would.
