WGS Garden Rooms

The product I've received from WGS is exceptional in quality. I spend 40 hours a week working in my garden office and it's provided me a comfortable, quiet, well-lit place in which to work. The build quality is absolutely fantastic and I know this is a space that will last a lifetime. So why the 4 star rating? Well, I've had to knock off a star for the following reasons: 1) communications were sometimes poor, days would sometimes go back before a response was received. 2) timescales shifted considerably. I was advised this would take 3-4 weeks to complete, in the end it took nearly 8 and the start date slipped as well. Overall I moved in about 6 weeks later than I should have. 3) not enough care was taken to look after the surrounding area. We had spent several thousand pounds getting the garden landscaped and returfed over the summer, but because WGS didn't move their plywood sheets often enough the grass died off underneath and I'm now going to have to reseed it in the spring. The subcontractor who came to pour the concrete base also poured concrete over a patch of grass which has also died. These issues aside, I have been left with an exceptional product that I'm very happy with, they just need to take a bit more care in people's gardens

We’re really delighted with our garden room. Edd and his team were very professional, involving us at every stage from the architect’s drawings to arranging delivery of material. All of the involved tradespeople were courteous. The build quality is excellent, thanks to Edd and his team and joiner Danny Dodsley. The attention to detail was exceptional. We researched a lot of garden room options and felt we made the most informed decision going with WGS to achieve the highest standard of garden room. Edd and his team were very relaxed and stopped by daily to project manage. They kept us informed at all stages. We would highly recommend WGS garden room for your garden project without any reservation.

We did a lot of research into Garden Room companies, including a number of local and nationally well publicised companies. None of them were able to offer the build quality and bespoke design we were after. Edd at WGS Garden Rooms however, immediately demonstrate their build quality and offered us a truly bespoke design service. Edd was very approachable and accommodating throughout the build meaning we have exactly what we hoped for and much more. All of the team at WGS Garden Rooms were passionate about providing us with a high quality product, to our exacting specifications and worked above and beyond to do just that. The quality of the joinery inside and outside speaks for itself. Our Garden Room is only 6 months old, but it worked brilliantly in the late summer heat, particularly being able to open up the bifold doors and more recently it has kept us warm through the wet and cold winter months. WGS are a well-established local double-glazing company with an excellent reputation for their installations and company service. They have more recently moved into the area of bespoke garden rooms and we took advantage of this and had one of their first builds. Whilst garden rooms have become very popular during the pandemic, for leisure or working from home, the same pandemic has made supplies more patchy and safe-working more complex. However, WGS worked with and around these challenges in a very professional manner and our finished garden room is absolutely fantastic and we are highly delighted with it. The build quality is excellent and has exceeded our expectations. It is superbly insulated and cosy even in sub-zero temperatures. We use it as a seating/leisure area and (with approx 1/3 of its floor space) as a home gym. Thanks to WGS!
