Ahead in Sheds Belfast

Ahead in Sheds was founded just over ten years ago by local businessman Chris Lewis. Initially, the business made dog kennels and garden sheds. It now supplies throughout Northern Ireland, with the main delivery area within a thirty mile radius of its showrooms.

The company operates a showroom and manufacturing facility in Knockbreda, Belfast, and a showroom in Lisburn. It offers a one-to-one bespoke design service creating 3D models. Its product range includes sheds, garden rooms, summer houses, playhouses, dog kennels and runs, log and bin stores, and composites and decking.

Ahead in Sheds Belfast is associated by customers with garden sheds, bespoke timber buildings and fully insulated garden rooms, including cladded interiors with electrics, double-glazed doors and pent roofs. Reviews regularly refer to the standard of installation and finish, and several describe the process as organised and efficient, from the initial conversation through to fitters arriving punctually and completing a shed within about two hours. Brian Lewis is named often for advice on options and for explaining what was possible, while Ben is credited with keeping customers informed about timelines and checking details as orders progressed.

Chris also appears regularly, both for fitting and for working with customers on designs that blend with their own fittings, including a garden building with a craft room, workspace, WC and storage. Communication stands out as a consistent theme, with staff described as helpful and easy to deal with, answering questions and accommodating changes along the way. Fitters are called friendly, tidy and swift, and non-standard and larger sheds, a cheeky bar and deluxe garden rooms all feature in accounts, with the finished quality a point that comes up often.
