Brighton Bike Sheds

Brighton Bike Sheds did a brilliant job for us. We had seen their sheds locally and got in touch wanting to get our bikes out of the hall but unsure what to go for to make the most of our small front garden space. Aaron came up with a design that was a great balance of practicality and aesthetics. The subsequent build and installation was mm perfect making best use of tight space. My commute is now so much easier and it looks great. Thank you BBS!

The shed is great, the delivery guys were lovely but the customer service afterwards has been really poor. One piece of cladding was broken on delivery and I was told a replacement would be sent shortly. This never arrived. I also requested a pdf of the installation instructions. I have emailed multiple times and called and left messages and never had a response on either issue. Update - both issues above now resolved following publication of this review.

Thank you to Aaron for helping us design our bespoke bike shed and James for driving all the way to us to fit it into our garden. It's fantastic, looks smart, has great security features and it's so well put together, good solid job.

While not the cheapest, what Brighton Bike Sheds make and build is truly lovely, solid, and Aaron and his team go the length to make and keep their customers happy. We're in North Norfolk, so it's been a four-hour drive for them each way from and back to Brighton, and now that we've got the higher pads under the base, our double side-opening shed is just perfect for our garden. Five bulky bikes and a lot of garden and seaside gear (body boards, spades, paddleboard, grandchildren's gear and more) have found a dry and safe home, with reassuringly natural living roof on top. For others ordering these bespoke sheds, I'd suggest checking the small print carefully, since if you're having a concrete base laid, it's important that it's the exact size of your shed, and not bigger if at all possible. That said, whatever base you've got, our experience would also suggest it's best to ask the team for the maximum height of pads from the get-go, to make sure moisture-retaining clutter doesn't accumulate below the floor. The wood is top quality Scottish larch, but wood does eventually rot, and better not to take any risks.
