Laurel Farm Garden Centre

Laurel Farm is a wonderful garden centre (and more!). We live about a 10 minute drive away and have visited quite a few times over the last 5 years or so. We always enjoy our time at Laurel Farm. They have expanded and improved Laurel Farm a lot since we started going. We often choose Laurel Farm other other local garden centres. It's very calm and almost has a homely feel to it. The garden centre shop inside isn't as big as other in Suffolk but is certainly big enough and stocks all the essentials for gardening. It sells a big range of garden shoes and slippers in all sizes, children's to men's. It has lots of garden ornaments and tools. There is a food section. You can buy dog food here, including a freezer full of raw dog food (if you're looking for a local supplier). There's a very friendly little robin who lives at th garden centre and you'll often see him flying around inside, being curious and singing to staff and visitors. Outside is a large selection of pots and plants. There is another big outbuilding with lots of plants in. There is also a florist. There is a beauty salon over the other side, but it doesn't encroach on the garden centre. There is a lovely shop that sells everything you need for your fish tank tucked away in the corner. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Everything is very high quality. There is plenty of parking, including disabled parking. Round the back is a forest school and dog training centre. The cherry on top is the cafe! The food is delicious and they always have a good selection of home made cakes. I highly recommend the apple and cinnamon cake! There is plenty of seating inside the cafe and outside. Outside, you can choose to sit in the sun or under cover on very comfortable outdoor seating. The hot food is excellent and has a real home cooked feel to it. It's served with salad and a nice dressing. There's a good selection of hot and cold drinks and ice creams. There is also an antiques shop, which is like a tardis. It looks small on the outside but is really quite big when you're in there. Worth a look, if you like that sort of thing. Lastly, my car broke down just by Laurel Farm recently. It was a very hot day and I had 3 children with me. We went into Laurel Farm and they were so kind and helpful. I explained what had happened. I didn't feel rushed to leave at all or to keep buying from the cafe. I really appreciated it.

Been coming here for years with my bestie. Aways greated with a smile and always helpful.and friendly. Sometimes we treat ourselves to a lovely slice of cake too I can't praise the staff enough, just recently I've had a issue with my back and the girls fill up my hottie whenever I ask , I'm so very grateful they are so good to me.

We had a pot of tea for two ,got over 3 cups of tea each out of it ,and a cheese scone warmed up, the garden is in process of adding more plants but still plenty to choose from,there’s an antique shop next to cafe definitely worth a look ,and also tropical cold water aquatic centre all on site , a shop selling loads more items to do with gardening 🧑‍🌾 great service and very quick from order to table despite place being full of customers thank you 🤩

Lovely garden centre, amazing antique shop with lots of beautiful interesting finds. Cafe?…. Best cheese scones in the county and believe me I’ve tried a few!! So hats off to the Chef, thank you for topping off my visit!!

Met up with friends here last week for lunch, really busy (advise you book ahead). Service was very quick, hot drinks served within minutes. Food was excellent and plenty of it, coleslaw and salad garnish serves with sandwiches, toasted sandwiches and panini’s. Would certainly recommend, it’s really popular.

Good selection of plants shrubs and trees. Knowledgeable and polite staff. I would definitely be going there again.

Booked a table as meeting friends there. Restaurant quite a good size, clean with good service. Food portions were generous and reasonably priced. Small garden centre, florist & 2nd hand shop visited as well. I believe there to be a few other shops too (but cant remember what)!!! Ample parking available.
