The shed was not the dimension that was stated and the doors were in a worse state than my shed it was replacing. The finally sorted a collection after numerous calls and emails and charged me £92 for the pleasure even though it was not sold as advertised and faulty . Still waiting a reply .
Shed was delivered not even on a pallet, but in seperate pieces. Poor quality, and most items were damaged. Raise it with the company and it took a nearly a week for collection. They said it would take 3-5 days for my money to be returned and im still waiting. We are on day 6 tomorrow and after emailing the company they said they would get back to me that day........still waiting no reply. Twice my emails have been ignored.
Shame you have to give a star!! We had our shed delivered on 13 May 2026 and after unpacking the shed there was no checklist. One was finally sent over when I queried the parts. Going through the checklist, there were several items missing or there were faulty parts as follows: 1. One of the roof panels was broken. 2. A gap of 1 inch at the bottom of the glass for the windows. 3. Floor panels were different sizes. Checklist said four 5ft panels. We received 2 x (3.8x5.77) and 2 x (3.8x3.8) 4. 5 out of the 6 full panels had split wood. 5. The large pent roof was damaged 6. There were no 4ft wide, 3ft wide, and 2ft wide felt strips provided. 7. The framework and floorboards were smaller than advertised. Floorboards were 15mm and not 18mm with the framework being 34mm x 44mm and not 38mm x 50mm. The 70mm and 100mm screws supplied were therefore too long and would be dangerous. Advised that the floor panels are different to the checklist due to being in metric. If that is the case, they should have been 1524mm per panel and not the sizes provided. Advised that the floorboards would shrink even though every floorboard was exactly the same. Also, the framework starts at 38mm x 50mm but becomes smaller after planning. None of this is in their advertisement. We treated the floor panels with wood preserver as advised before attempting to put them together. The floor bearers did not align and was advised that it did not matter, even though their instructions advise screwing further posts to them to strengthen. When screwing the floor panels together there were gaps of 1cm and 2cm between a couple of the panels. It did not matter where these were put, the gaps would still be there. It transpired that the floor panels were not square. Ben G. confirmed in an email on 15 May 2026 that the manufacturer was issuing a credit note of £50.00 to our account to cover the cost of the wood preserver they advised and for the time taken. This has never been paid to us even after asking numerous times for this payment. Totally ignored each time! Extract from Ben’s email of 15 May 2026: The manfacturer has confirmed - I have spoken with the customer and go thought it all with them. We have issued a credit note to you for the customer of £50.00 and the replacement sections will be sent out from us on Monday for delivery on Wednesday and the old ones collected as he will have them on a pallet. Kind Regards, Ben Sales & Customer Service Executive Sixtystores.co.uk" Due to the numerous problems, we asked for the shed to be returned, and this was picked up on 19 May 2026. I was advised that Sheds.co.uk received the refund from the manufacturer on Friday 22 May 2026 by James. Even though Ben G., James and Wendy all confirmed that the refund would be dealt today, whenever I contacted them, it took until 5 June 2026 to be issued. Just over 2 weeks. Customer Service is great when you are looking to buy but disappears when trying to get your money back!
If you want to buy a shed look somewhere else the quality is really bad and the customer service is worse I took down my old shed that was 14 year old that was in better condition than the one sheds.co.uk sold me
Being generous with 1 star. Instructions are poor at best, customer service lied about emailing Instructions over for the size of shed I ordered, nailed a wooden lip to the bottom of the wall panels, after emailing about this I was told it needs removing, why was it not screwed if it needs removing?? Customer service refuses any wrong doing as per , would strongly recommend you look elsewhere if you want a shed to look good and not like shrek's swamp hut. When you pay that much money for a product you would expect good quality customer service at the very minimum. That does not exist. More holes in the shed then a sieve. Good quality wood if you bought the shed from a beaver.
!!WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! If you want bad quality shed with a lot of holes and uneven walls - you are in the right place. This company does not offer you any type of compensation whatsoever. Nobody will email you instructions and when you do find them you won't find particular for you size of shed so get ready to use your imagination. Poor quality and bad customer experience. Very frustrating
STAY AWAY Dreadful customer service that don't even offer you a partial refund The quality of shed is shocking. Its all wonky and instructions do not even mention some things, for example that you need to remove a piece of wood at the bottom of each panel that has approx 7 nails each and get ready to damage that panel whilst removing as they have not heard about screws apparently Gets ready to have loads of holes and bend structures Would not buy another shed from them as you will be disappointed with both quality and customer service
